ABOUT

James is a multi-disciplinary artist working across painting, illustration, animation, and tattooing. Early in his career, he won the Australian National Design Award and has since presented at international conferences for Disney and Adobe.

 

With a background in animation, he’s contributed to major projects for Disney, Warner Brothers, and Sony Imageworks. James has held solo exhibitions in London and painted large-scale murals in the UK, Portugal, Canada, and India. He has also collaborated with internationally recognized artists.

In addition to his artistic work, James has developed alternative education programs, teaching creative expression to troubled youth in London and Art as Therapy to prisoners. He has lived in Canada, Portugal, England, and Australia, and traveled widely, including solo cycling trips across Europe and North America, and hitchhiking through India and Nepal.
